The study on gender roles was done by professor Leah Sheppard at Washington State University. It found that a very beautiful business woman is seen as very dangerous. People think that attractive businesswomen are less honest, less reliable, and should be fired. It might look like this is a bias and not true. People often don't take seriously successful women who look good because they think they just used their looks to get ahead. Men are taught to think they are better at their jobs than women and that women are just pretty things they should enjoy. Companies still need to show that they are more open to women getting promoted, but recent events show that they are moving in the right way. Because of this, there are more businesswomen now than ever before.
